How online speed dating works
- Reserve a free place. Pick an evening on the Upcoming evenings page and book in a few seconds.
- Get your link on the day. We email it to you. All you need is a laptop or phone with a camera, and somewhere quiet to talk.
- Arrive and get let in. You start in the waiting room while the host lets people in one at a time, then join the others in the holding area.
- Go on a few short dates. Each one is a one-to-one video date, a few minutes long, with someone in the age range you chose.
- Say yes or no — privately. After each date you decide on your own. Nobody ever sees a no.
- Match. If you both say yes, you swap contact details when the evening ends. What happens next is up to you.

- Evenings start at 7:30 PM Eastern and last about an hour.
